Piece Pay Guide For Workiz

Step 1 → Find correct job you will be doing piece pay for

Step 2 → Go to items and find what installs were made (HVAC unit, dehumidifier, ductwork)

Step 3 → Go to intranet and find “Installation Experts – Percentage Pay” https://intranet.goldeagleservices.com/installation-experts-percentage-pay/ This article will allow you to see the percentage compensation our installers are owed.

Step 4 → Find the crew splits in the article. For the example we are doing it will be a 3-person crew resulting in us using 40/30/30. Lead being 40 and helpers being 30.

Step 5 → Once you are done determining the items and split you are good to start on the math!

EXAMPLE: Unit- 11,203.00 x 0.08 = 896.24

Dehum- 9,977.00 x 0.09 = 897.93

Duct work- 1,620 x 0.13 = 210.6

210.6 + 897.93 + 896.24 = 2,004.77

2,004.77 x 0.40 = 801.90

2,004.77 x 0.30 = 601.43

801.90- Miguel’s percentage

601.43- Leo’s/Adolfo’s percentage

Step 6 → Once finding the percentage pay owed, you will go into Workiz and update the time tracking adding only 1 hour (1pm-2pm) and the correct labor cost
