Install Preparation Procedure

INSTALL LANES & DAILY STAGING

Lane Structure

  • Monday Lane A + B Groups
  • Tuesday Lane A + B Groups
  • Wednesday Lane A + B Groups
  • Thursday Lane A + B Groups
  • Friday Lane A + B Groups

EXAMPLE: Only Team A has a scheduled install on Monday

Both teams run installs Tuesday–Friday

“Lane A + B Groups” = two install lanes (or crews) operating per team

Monday

Team A

  • Lane A Group: Full install job (Primary scheduled project)
  • Lane B Group:
    • Assist on main install or
    • Handle prep work (duct, materials staging, permits, partial jobs)

Team B

Punch list or small carryover jobs

No full installs scheduled

Focus on:

Equipment/material prep for week

Warehouse organization

Truck restocking

Training / ride-alongs

Daily Process

  • Assign job to lane
  • Place job folder
  • Attach checklist
  • Stage materials

Crews must sign checklist before loading.

WAREHOUSE & INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

Weekly Inventory Control

  • Maintain master inventory list
  • Track usage
  • Identify shortages

Ordering System

  • Review Thursdays
  • Order Friday weekly
  • Verify deliveries

Standard Stock Categories

  • Install materials
  • Service parts
  • Filters/cleaners
  • PPE
  • Consumables
