To ensure a consistent, efficient, and high-quality hiring process, the following standards must be met before moving candidates forward.

1. Pre-Interview Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

Candidates must not be scheduled for an interview unless HR has received and completed the following:

  • Resume
  • Completed application
  • Must include at least 3 professional references
  • References must be verified (called) with notes documented
  • Signed 13 Non-Negotiable Standards

If any of the above items are missing prior to the scheduled interview:

  • The interview will be rescheduled
  • Going forward, communication will be handled directly with HR

2. Rehire Candidate Review Process

For any candidate who has previously worked at GES, the following must be reviewed before scheduling an interview:

  • Reason for departure or termination
  • Rehire eligibility status
  • Previous disciplinary history (if applicable), including:
  • Number of write-ups
  • Reason for write-ups

Do not proceed with scheduling until this review is completed and discussed.

3. Offer & Start Date Requirements

To streamline onboarding and avoid delays:

  • All paperwork has been transitioned to fillable forms for easier completion and submission
  • Before confirming a start date, the following must be received:
    • Signed offer letter
    • Completed payroll/onboarding documents

If documents are not received prior to the start date:

  • The candidate will be notified
  • The start date will be rescheduled

4. Communication & Accountability

  • HR will be contacted directly regarding missing items or concerns
  • Clear expectations will be communicated to candidates throughout the process
