1. Professional Conduct
- Courtesy: Drive courteously, even when other drivers don’t. We don’t engage in aggressive gestures or retaliatory behavior.
- Clean Environment: Keep the cab tidy—no trash buildup, food wrappers, or clutter.
- Noise & Media: Music or podcasts should be at a professional volume and content should remain appropriate for a company setting.
- Prohibited Activities: No smoking, vaping, or eating while the vehicle is moving.
- Personal Use: Company vehicles are for work duties only. Personal errands or off-duty use require written approval from management.
- Respectful Presence: Park neatly at job sites, avoid blocking access, and represent the brand positively when customers see the truck in front of their home.
2. Passenger Policy
- Authorized Passengers:
- Gold Eagle employees on approved work assignments.
- Customers, but only with prior management approval (e.g., brief relocation for an equipment inspection).
- Unauthorized Passengers:
- Family members, friends, or pets are not permitted.
- Responsibility:
Drivers are accountable for passenger safety and conduct. Ensure all passengers wear seatbelts and comply with all safety rules.
3. Use of Vehicles Off Duty
Gold Eagle vehicles may not be used for personal errands, transportation of personal items, or any activities unrelated to work. Any off-duty incident involving a company vehicle must be reported immediately and may result in termination.
Brand Representation
Gold Eagle vehicles are “rolling billboards.” The way you drive can earn or lose trust with potential customers watching from behind the wheel. Every action – cutting someone off, speeding, tossing trash out the window – reflects on all of us. Your professionalism extends beyond the job-site. Whether you’re at a stoplight, fueling up, or driving to a customer’s home, you are representing your team, your trade, and the reputation we’ve built together.
